Tibetan Papermaking

This is the oldest form of papermaking.  In this class students will make their own frame, cook traditional eastern fibers and learn to compose and form sheets of paper with these prepared fibers.  Traditional to the technique, students will also dye one or two sheets with traditional natural dyes if time permits.

2 sessions    9:30 – 4:30   maximum # students 6  no experience necessary

Though classes may have a scheduled date, if  three to six people get together, we can find a date that suits us all!  Most papermaking classes are 2 days; see the calendar below for free dates available (green boxes).
